Hey guys, I have a 2019 type R with approximately 1,000 miles. Recently I noticed that during cold idle the exhaust makes a puff/pop sound every 15-20 seconds that you can hear and feel at the rear tips. It somewhat feels like a misfire but goes away once the vehicle is war. Does anyone else have this/does this sound normal? Thanks in advance

My '18 has done that since I bought it, I'm assuming its a normal thing for the car.

I think the ECU runs the engine rich while its warming up which causes burbles like what you're describing.

My 19 R does it when it gets cold out, (like under 20 degrees F). Not always but with the PRL IC and short trips sometimes, it doesn't actually heat even though the temp. gauge goes to "normal" range.

Mine sounds like a gun shot with the DP, and R400. K-Tuner Stage 1 with DP tune. Looking to get a custom e-tune to maybe clean things up.

most cars will do this on a cold idle.
Assuming you mean FK8's. Most cars in general shouldn't do it, nor do I regularly hear any do it. "Burbles" are different than loud pops, that sound like a 22 going off in the exhaust.
