Civic Type R Owners: What do you do for a living?

I work in software dev and I'm fortunate to be able to work 100% from home. This is one of the main reasons I was willing to buy a brand new CTR (my first new car purchase ever) because the car can sit in my garage when I'm not using it and doesn't have to sit all day in some office parking lot. My coworkers know about the car, only because I've told them, and they know I'm a car nut so nobody is surprised. To any rando that comments on spending 40k on a Civic, I invite them to go for a ride. Usually their response afterwards is 'holy shit this car is amazing'.

Performance and Dyno tuning shop owner since 1993. Before that computer operations....this job melded the two professions!

I work at a grocery store in a small tourist town in the mountains. I don't drive it in the winter because of the snow but I always catch someone looking at it, I've even caught people taking pictures of it lo . Very happy to have a rare (at least where I live) car that sticks out from everything else.

I run the international security program for a defense and aerospace company. Love my job, always challenging, great teammates. One teammate is a gearhead who likes to buid 500 hp Golfs, so he gave me a big thumbs up.

Retiring small business owner. I'm in the process of selling my video production business that focuses on legal videography. And yes it can be extremely interesting or downright boring.

Used Car Manager. Fun thing about my job is that I get to drive all the cool trade in's that we take in. I even like to compare them to mine like the VW Golf R.
