K-tuned K1 Street Coilovers are in! As per my tech friend the build quality is excellent, install was easy as my suspension components were free of any rust/corrosion, and the adjustability is miles ahead of stock dampers.

I haven't gotten much seat time because we finished at 3:30 AM. The ADS Light is on, but I'm not too bothered. Sport Mode's other features are still active. Went from -0.7 Camber Front to 1.5, Toe I believe was set to 0. Dialed in -2 at the rear. 20 Clicks Front, 18 Clicks Rear for dampening.

Fresh impressions are that the car is very eager to change lanes, and lesser effort is required. This is likely a combination of more camber, less body roll, and perhaps my lighter Carbon Fiber Steering wheel is also giving me a feeling of more dartiness. Too early to review how comfortable they are for DD, but the first ride home was decent - no bouncing around by being too stiff, and not as wallowy as stock dampers.

Also did an Oil Change, and managed to snag up the Goodridge SS Brake Lines + Mercedes AMG Dot4 Fluid. Terrific stopping power, brake pedal feels great!

Just a follow-up I paid full pop for these SS Lines, and just saw them on sale at MA Performance! 10/10 recommend if you hit the Track, and/or any backroad or canyons! Brake pedal feel is vastly improved over stock rubber lines :)

Front and Rear SS Brake set, I applied them on the Brembos but of course they'll fit the stock calipers too!

hey man i love your build. Any trackcross or time attack sessions in it? I've been doing some research on improving the aero for rear downforce as i feel the car getting a little light back there especially in corners. Wondering if you had any thoughts on switching out the rear spoiler to something like an adjustable GT wing

Thank you, and likewise looking forward to seeing what's coming from you!

I did feel a certain amount of front-end lift and a slightly looser rear end when I would reach speeds upwards of 100mph at the straight on my local road course, however reduced it dramatically with the addition of the K-Tuned Coilovers which feel way more planted than stock dampers. I haven't felt the need to add any aero after that, but that's mostly because I haven't yet pushed the car to the extents that you have with your experience on track.

Here's the only Si I've seen with a large wing, and it's owned by @Vincent@27WON

Picked up a pair of Recaro SR-11 from another Mitsubishi Evo 10 owner! These are a cloth - suede material, BUT get this...Heated, and with Side Airbags! Now, don't just rush to find yourself a pair just yet because I have yet to install them, and there is a possibility one or both of those features may not work. I'm speaking with my buddy who does all the work on my car and thankfully he's done plenty aftermarket seats as well. The Civic has 2.2 OHM resistors, the Evo is 3.3 OHM - he may be able to bridge them, so let's see. What's more involving is that he has to take apart the Si seat to remove the weight sensor, and take apart the Recaro and install it in there.

The passenger side seems to be more complicated, and I can live without the seat airbag but under no circumstance give up the front airbag, risking passenger safety. Will have more details, follow along :)

Interested in info on the wiring of the seats man. I have a set of Cipher seats with 10th gen brackets. I bought the Bride resistors to cancel the airbag lights for the oem Si internal seat airbags, but in same boat as you with not wanting to give up that passenger dash airbag. I would be fine if it could be wired/looped to have it active as if someone was sitting there at all times, but I have no clue how to go about it. Not really wanting to take seats apart to swap the sensor. Any info or suggestions would be awesome! Nice build man!

Thank You! Just short of 30k miles, been particular and maintenance and doing things ahead of schedule at my Indy Tech's shop so the car has been solid! I'll leave it at his shop the following week to get the whole stockpile of parts I've been hoarding over the winter!

Spoon Sports Rigid Collar Front and Rear Kit that is listed for the FK8 but I have confirmation that these will fit the FC subframe as well... I really hope so because these put a nice dent in my wallet for essentially being "Washers"

I spoke to several CTR owners here on the forum who have installed these, and have given positive feedback so that has been reassuring. I know there's some Magic Collar kit out there for half the price, but I can't bring myself to trust to trust anything less credible when it comes to safety. I will post a dedicated thread to these later on.

Here's HPJ explaining what they do, and installing them on his CTR:

Planted Seat Mounts ordered via @MAPerformance

The price is pretty consistent irrespective of where you purchase these from but I see MAP doing good things for the community, and since I have Recaros from an EvoX, and these guys are very well known in the Evo world so it was pretty easy asking questions over the phone. Tony was of great help, and knew exactly what I was trying to do :)

Yessir + poor conversion to CAD + 13% Ontario sales tax on top  Usually I'm not one to be a guinea pig, but just at a point now with mods that off-the-shelf tested items are running out. Really thankful I've got @Thusee local to me, as he's even more bold with his choice to fit items no one has even thought of before, and working with him to test fit parts sooner than I can get my car up on a lift usually.

Will keep you in mind if I run out of luck with these.

Predictably, things are on hold till Covid19 settles around here - all non-essential businesses will be forced to close tomorrow at mid-night. My tech's shop will likely be on the impacted list once that gets disclosed tomorrow by the Ontario govt.

Some of you know I have a small 10th Gen parts store that grew out of this all, so I'll remain online and open, but working remote and have put a hold on all local meet ups till the situation settles. Shipping any in stock, and accessible parts for now.

I urge you to take cleanliness and social distancing serious for everyone's sake. The shear impact of this virus will be felt in 1-2 week's time throughout North America when the healthcare system will reach it's brink because many people have been careless to say at the very least, from what I have gathered through my own research online and discussions with friends who are healthcare professionals, both front line and researchers.
