Honda didn’t do anything to beef up Type R heel strike area in 2020, I am though.

While rubber mats help, here’s another solution via Etsy (Bought several things from Mat in his autoCOVR store, all top notch, hand made, a little expensive but worth it). Shipping from O’seas takes longer than USA. They have many more Type R accessories if you’re dressing up. Plate can have production number professionally stamped/engraved for an additional fee (I think +25-30%?):

My 2019 came with that 2020 vent hood. It's not carbon fiber but black polished. I can take pics of it if you guys want to see it. My car came with a LOT of additions compared to the stock setup.

Some adds may be by dealer and not Honda, who knows but if they look good and hold up, doesn’t matter.

I want it too. But with a 2018 I have to address the lack of climate control buttons too. Can't remember the last time I turned the radio on in my CTR, honestly.
