Is this the most exotic/sporty looking car for the price?

Thank you
I forgot to add the the rain sensing wipers are not very good. Your dealership is a little far for me. At this point I'm taking everyday as it goes. My main concern is when the bumper to bumper warrenty is up if I need to bring it like I am now I'm going to be dumping a lot of money. I think Honda may have rushed this car to production before it was really ready. I bought mine December 30 so I'm guessing it was one of the first batches they sent out. My sales guy told me it was one of the first ones they sold.
I understand. Don't give up! Sometimes you have to be a pain the a.. with the dealer service department and wear them down until they fix what needs to be fixed. The car is worth it!

@domm92 Have you looked into lemon laws concerning your car? The dealerships and manufacturers have only so many attempts to remedy a problem but if they cannot, you as the consumer have legal recourse to make them take the car back and get you into a vehicle free of issues.

As far as I know it needs to be an issue that can either cause death or injury, substantially impair the use of the vehicle or bring the value down. I don't really think there would be a big impact on value and I don't think the vehicle will kill me. It starts and runs. I mean maybe the transmission being very jerky but I've had them look at it 5 times and they say it's absolutely normal. I really don't know if it's a lemon or not.

I always get a little grin on my face passing 18 wheelers. If they have their mirrors adjusted properly, you can see yourself (vain I know).

I feel like a bawssss each time I can get this fleeting glimpse. Bae is sexy.

I'm not an attorney and have never exercised the lemon law but based on what I saw here on wiki there's nothing saying the issue needs to be fatal to the owner in order for it to be considered a lemon. It's mostly that the product fails to "meet standards of quality and performance." Sure seems like your vehicle could meet that criteria. Anyway hope you get a resolution one way or the other.

I tell you what, this is the most exotic looking and practical car I've ever owned. I've never gotten compliments and people turning heads for a freakin Civic before!! Great gas mileage and commute friendly features to boot!

Domm, I'm sorry to hear about all of your problems! I've had my Touring since February and have had a few minor issues [mostly audio and auto wipers], but there pretty much fixed right now [had both the TB updates done and all seems to be OK for now]. I do really love this car and want to make it the best car I've ever owned.
Where in NJ are you? If you're anywhere near central NJ, may I suggest my dealer, Honda of Princeton. They are excellent in every respect and work like crazy to make the customer happy. I'm on my 6th Honda with them, between myself, my wife, and my son and they have always addressed every issue that I've ever had. You might want to give them a try to get your Touring to where you want it to be. I think it's worth a shot if your dealership is not living up too expectations. Good luck and I hope that it works out for you!
Can I ask what the fix was for your wipers? I had mine in once and they replaced both the sensor and the control unit. They're better now, but sometimes they will start wiping like crazy as the rain gets lighter.

I have had my civic parked next to my buddy's 3 series and the lines and body of the civic looked so much better. Everyone who sees my car can't believe it's a civic. I was next to a Lexus the other day (can't remember the model) and the front looked exactly the same. Honda definitely did a lot right with this car :)

Thanks for Honda's need to overcompensate for bad rankings in recent years! What they have done is create a car that passes for an Accord looks like a sports car and cost $27,000 totally loaded with everything you could want except memory seats and Driver lumbar.

I'm 73 and I feel like 17 with this car. It's the best car I've ever owned and as far as I'm concerned I'm going to be buried in it. Where else can you have a car that looks like this that gets 42 miles per gallon on trips and passes other dual exhaust vehicles with great aplomb?

Almost everyone assumes it's an Accord until I politely correct them.

First time I saw a 10G Civic I thought the very same thing: a redesigned Accord for 2016! Then I saw the Civic badge... Mind. Blown. LOL.

The cvt is just to jerky at low speed for my liking. I have the subwoofer rattle. Grinding when starting. Rattling under the hood on first start in the morning. Popping under car when pulling into my driveway. Several rattles in the interior. Since I've owned the car I've had it there probably 15 times. It's there right now for the grinding at start up and the rattling under the hood. I also have videos of it happing.

I'm really upset about all of it because my dealership isn't very helpful. And American Honda tells me they rely on the dealership and they can't do anything.

I really love this car. Most beautiful car I've ever had and great interior. I really don't want to get rid of this car because there's no other car that I can afford that I like and I don't want to take a huge loss.
Have you by any chance posted in another thread about the issues you were having and the interactions you had with your dealer or Honda corp? I'm having svery issue you mentioned and then some. My car even spent 10 days at the dealership, only to be returned with a new A/C vent and told that everything else was normal. And as far as the grinding noise on startup they told me to bring it in of the sound was worse and became more frequent.... which it has, hence the third visit at the dealership with the same issues. I would love to know if you had received any feedback similar to mine.
