I'm not 100% sure on this but I think you need to jailbreak your ECU in order to get the oil pressure/temps.
You can install the torque app with a Wifi or Bluetooth (forgot which one) OBD II reader and get various information from the ECU

Didn't know there was an update. Update went smoothly and the rear camera feature is awesome.

I found that you have to be really careful when you toggle the rear camera on. If you have it on and go into reverse, it will make the system freak out and the head unit will freeze for 5-10 mins before it restarts eventually. It made my android auto unusable until I completely shut down the car and turn it back on and wait a few mins for the HU to restart. I usually have to toggle it on, and then toggle it off before I use any other feature on the infotainment.

Has anyone here successfully install Viper4Android on their type R? I tried numerous times and still can't get it to work properly.

There's an option for memory? All I have are CPU and VOLT.

Man, I got the pro yesterday and today set up the DSP Flat app. Just 1 click. So worth it not to do finger-jujitzu to get decent sound. I recently installed a Skar EVL 15 and rp1500.1d to go along with my upgraded speakers.

Honda Civic 10th gen Latest Honda Hack Pro v5.0.5 Is Awesome! upload_2020-1-30_8-21-12

It does, it works in a very similar fashion to Hondata where you install their app and connect through bluetooth to FlashPro.

This one works using iOS really well (aka using your phone and not the head unit):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073XKQQQW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This one works well with the Torque App that you would install on the head unit:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WPW6BAE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can install a SNES emulator if you want, it's Android.

Can you elaborate on the DSP flat app? I've been trying to install viper4android without any success.

Sorry I meant CPU and memory. I'm unable to get those values to show up after toggling them in advanced settings.
The rear camera still works great for me. You might want to change the button you set and see if that resolves the issue?

Got HondaHack Pro a couple of days ago for my 2016 Civic because Android Auto stops working after a few weeks every time, even w/ a new OEM Samsung phone USB cable. So far, Google Maps/Navigation works fine on the HU, except the map rendering is a bit laggy w/ hotspot - however, the GPS location and voice directions remain real-time. The only other apps I have installed are Chrome, and X-plore which allows me to quickly navigate the USB folder to select a song, etc. (more flexible than "Music Search" option by voice on the Civic). Meanwhile, the one-button key for the reverse camera has been unreliable so far.

Questions:
1) I downloaded an offiline Google map of my local area (< 200MB) from my HU after installing Maps. Where is the offline map located - in the HU memory or in my connected USB flash drive? And inside which folder (name)?

2) Ordered a WiFi OBD2 to use with Torque Pro. How do I install TPro on the HU without Google Play installed in the HU - just use Chrome to navigate to the Play Store and install the app from there? Is there a web or lite version of TPro, because I don't want to install any more apps in the HU than I absolutely have to.

3) I suspect my HU's WiFi connection to my phone hotspot is slow. Is there another way to connect (e.g., via USB which may not work given my USB cable issues, or via BT - my preferred option)?.

Thank you

I think at one point i held it for like 10 seconds havent gone past that
I know this is old but I didn't see a reply from you.. for the civics' with physical buttons it's not the Audio button but rather the volume knob you need to press for 5 seconds. Took me a bit too..

CarPlay continues to work, I didn't notice any change specifically in this area. As for warranty, my headunit didn't break as a result of this for 2+ years now, so not sure :)

A few more Q.

Are you able to run Honda Hack or any app you installed while driving?
Once you install an app like Netflix. Where will it be (in the apps list?) and how do you run it? I don't see any examples over the net of Netflix actually working via Hondahack.
