Some time ago I replaced the stock sub with a Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 8-inch Shallow-Mount Sub. I don't care what people say, it made zero difference without an amp, so...
I finally got around to installing a Rockford Fosgate R500X1D Prime 1-Channel Class D Amplifier and LC2i (not shown). The wired remote was run to the large blank switch next left of the wheel and the source was tapped into the front speaker wires based on threads I read, here.
It sounds SO much better! The bass now has the ability to vibrate the seats and you can feel the music. Having the remote easily adjustable is nice because you can adjust for the various types of music.
