Anyone know if this inlet pipe works with other non stock/prl intakes? I currently have a Mishimoto intake and curious if it will fit. Really don't feel like blowing $400 on another intake just to get this pipe to work. I know on their blog is says it works with aftermarket factory location intakes, but that helps none considering all aftermarket intakes use the stock location lol.
Your best bet is to see. The stock intake variant of the pipe should match up in theory if the Mishimoto mates to the stock inlet at the same location. In theory.

Thats a pretty smart way to tell without spending any money. Unfortunately I left my stock intake back in the states. Oh well.

Looks like he got it to work with the HVI tube and not the oem box tube. Hopefully he does chime in though.

The install guide says you can do it without any lift equipment.. but now that I have the front bumper off and everything, I'm not seeing any possible way to actually remove the hot side hose clamps without taking off the splash pan, which the install guide never mentions removing.. Not just difficult, but downright physically impossible. Maybe the passenger wheel well? Anybody got some advice here?

are we talking about the inlet pipe? i think your talking about the piping kit. You can do the coldside without lifting it but the hot side does require you to remove the splash shield underneath to get to it.

Are you installing a intercooler or this intake pipe? To install this pipe you don't need to remove anything other than the intake elbow, 4 coolant line bolts and a few bolts for the wire harness on the side and one near the top right. Then the two main bolts are easily removed with a extension and swivel. The pipe your trying to get it from what your explaining is the charge pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler.

Oh shit, wrong thread, posted too fast. I am indeed talking about the charge pipes. Thanks for the quick responses though. The inlet pipe is ezpz. Im currently installing the HVI, charge pipes, and inlet pipe at the same time. Had the PRL intercooler for a year now.

Haha, but yeah remove the aluminium tray and you have plenty of room for the charge pipe without having to take off the entire splash guard.

We have had a customer confirm fitment with the Gruppe M intake system with modification of the inlet hose, but we can pretty much guarantee that this will not fit any other intake systems. Our kits have two hose options; stock air box and HVI, both of different angle and length. Unless the MAF Housing is similar diameter and location to either our HVI or the stock air box, the inlet pipe will not fit.
I'm actually considering the GruppeM intake, did he go with the stock airbox hose option? and is he a member on here?

i was curious about the mishimoto intake fitting with the prl inlet pipe and stock hose but the issue is the stock hose is about 1 1/2" too long because the factory air box is physically narrower. the only issue i really had with the hvi hose is the valve has to be turned a certain way to not hit the hood as you can see from my photos if you place the valve in the proper factory orientation it will impact the hood when closed.
