Hi all
I have aFe 3" dp and fp, and right now matched with 3" ark catback exhaust.
I got J's exhaust and it is advertised as 2.75" .. but i measured the inner diameter that connect to FP is taper down to 2.5mm... am i going to expect performance loss if i switch to J's?
It is a straight pipe system with no resonator.

I dont mind to lose top end , i care more about lower end torque..
Please advice

If it tapers to 2.5mm then you’re really gonna be choking the chicken. Assuming you meant 2.5inches, shouldn’t be too bad. Ideally 3 all the way through or whatever.

that said, traditionally, smaller exhaust = more back pressure = more low end torque, whereas larger exhaust = less back pressure = more hp higher up.
