Mine may not be the same for everyone but I was searching for this for months and reading thru a bunch of threads. I don’t believe anyone has discovered this scenario. So here’s mine. I get a slight clunk whenever I am turning at low speeds. No clunk over speed bumps or imperfections on the road while driving straight. Looks like some play with the cv joint going in the transmission.

I've had (I think) the same issue for three years now! Every dealer I take it to can't reproduce the problem. Does your sound seem similar to the one in my video below? You'll need headphones and turn up the volume to hear it, most likely.

Can you post a video of what it sounds like when you're driving?

My car makes that sound. I’ll make a vid today. My buddy at Honda is gonna show the main tech today so hopefully I can get an explanation.

Tech said that is normal unfortunately. Shouldn’t have any issues other than the sound

Interesting. My sound almost goes away when the outside temperatures rise above about 50 degrees F (it turns into a more soft "thud" sound). It certainly sounds like it is coming from right below the gear shift, so maybe a mount is the culprit of the sound?

Could be the transmission mount. Seems like a couple guys found that to be their issue.

Do you have any vibration at highway speeds, or when turning right or left while accelerating? I had that with my previous Civic and no one could tell me what it was. I finally had the drive shaft replaced and it went away.

"Most" of the time a clunk noise while turning one way is a CV joint. Throw a new axle in, should be $100 or less for a remand axle through a parts store. Take your old axle in for a core and get some money back. Probably an hour job to do

I might have to do that myself as well. I've been hoping my issue would be fixed under the 3/36,000 warranty as it has been a problem since the very beginning.
