I'm not OP, but looks like he used the same stuff (or very similar) as I did. I used a $4 roll of 1/4" red pinstriping vinyl from AutoZone. I think 1/2" would be overkill
Yep, you're right. I used those Pinstripe Tape from Autozone and O'Reilly.

I used those Prostripe Red Pinstriping Tape from AutoZone or O'Reilly. They are 1/4 and 1/8. I used the 1/8 on the wing and 1/4 on the diffuser. I think red looks better on a white civic in my opinion. I've also used the 1/4 pinstripe inside to outline the dash and some parts of the doors and it looks good. The side decals I got on eBay. Just search for Racing Stripe Decals on eBay and eventually you'll find one that looks like mine for about $10. The LED reflector conversions isn't too difficult. There are several YouTube videos showing how to remove the panel and wire it in. The lights look very nice during the day and night.
Ah I thought my machinist's eye was telling me there were 2 sizes lol. Good to know I'm not going crazy over here.

I'm thinking I'll try the white since I have yet to see it, I mean it's like 5 bucks and a half hour of my time. Probably take a few pics and toss them up here so if anyone else is wondering, they'd have something to reference. Stuff comes off quick if I decide against it.

Thanks for the source on that I'll check it out. That's something that would look nice in red, gotta be out there somewhere!

As far as the reflectors being installed, you mentioned there was no way to get the bumper off. After reading that, I think when I do mine I want to get some plug-style connectors so they can be easily disconnected. I did that for my subs when I had 2 12" side by side so it took up the whole trunk with the seats up - made it a breeze to swap them in and out when I needed to haul something big. I'm now wishing I had done it for the side markers, but I might be able to access the wires from the bay easy enough to do it. If I find something good I'll be sure to make a thread on it and see if anyone else can find it useful. One thing though, is the sequential up or down on yours? SUMA came out with their sequential side markers but they go toward the rear of the vehicle and I just can't get over that so I won't be getting them. Vehicle moves forward 99% of the time, I think it's silly to have the sequence go front to back.

I said the reflectors will be a problem when it comes to removing the bumper to install the rear diffuser. I didn't want to undo the wire tap but it can be done. I have the wires from the reflectors tapped to the rear tail lights using T-connectors. The reflectors have their LED lights starting from the top and going to the bottom when it comes to using the sequential turn signal feature. I've removed the stock orange side markers and replaced them with black markers. No wires were needed when replacing the side markers. The side markers have a small bulb I believe that I replaced with an LED part that you just literally plug it and you're done. This is the side marker that I used https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-2016-up-Hatchback-Replace-Sidemarker/dp/B075KTWTF9/ . The side markers I used are not sequential. It flashes solid rather than sequential.

I know what you're saying man. What I'm saying is, you cut the wire somewhere between the LED reflectors and the place where you tapped in to the brake light wire. On one end goes a male plug, the other a female. That way, if you need to take your bumper off in the future, you can simply unplug that connector.

I have switchback markers. They glow white all the time and then I wired them to the turn signal so they flash amber when the directional is on. Do your side markers flash when using the turn signals without tapping the turn signal wire?? As far as I know my side markers didn't flash with the turn signal...

Did you get exhaust installed? I'm confused because that metal piece is blocking the exhaust exit.
no not yet, life has been a bit troublesome, soon though, im thinking sometime next month if all goes well. i probably wont do a full exhaust system, maybe a muff delete and custom piping to get center exhaust exit with some tips.

Hey Robot3RK,

The ride looks good! I'm also located in Cali and wondering if you ordered the diffuser from a local dealership (and did they charge a ton for shipping) or online?

I got the new 2020 hatchback rear diffuser installed a few weeks ago and it looks good! I did not remove the bumper to install it. It was a bit difficult but it didn't take more than an hour to install. If you do not remove the bumper, you cannot install the two tabs in the center but it still holds up without it. I've been driving it around and it is still tight and secured to the bumper.

I ordered from my local dealership. They do not charge shipping if you order for pickup. I did try ordering it online once from another dealer but they would not carry out the order because of the extremely high shipping cost.

So who's gonna buy this to see if it'll fit the other years? Now we can all stop buying the Type R one finally? lol I mean it LOOKS like it's gonna fit...

71502-TGG-A70 $82.62 Diffuser
71509-TGG-A70 $9.17 Cover finisher below it
71521-TGG-A70 $25.10 Right bumper extension
71526-TGG-A70 $25.10 Left bumper extension

I don't think the extensions are needed. I'm gonna have to go look at the 2020 in person.

UPDATE 10/20/2019: Installed finally. Remove rear bumper, it's seriously faster. Just do it. Cover finisher fits with ~1/4" gap if you have the Invidia R400 exhaust. Tabs may be hard to clip back together. Otherwise the piece is nice. Bumper extensions are not needed.
Does anyone know if this will fit a sport sedan? It's almost impossible to find a rear diffuser sport sedan.

Went to the dealer today and the diffuser and finisher together came out to $108. Will update with pics once it comes in and I get the exhaust on!

got my muffler deleted and did a single pipe to dual tip exit, not happy with how it looks atm, gonna get the pipes rerouted with different tips. car was still warm in the video. https://www.youtube.com/embed/_8wkiNteNBM
