I know the dealer up here in NorCal is selling their PMM at MSRP. No accessories. Just $595 window tint.
Nice. Is the tint on all windows or the back half? I can get tint for all windows (incl. windshield) down here for less than that.

It should just be the backs. The fronts are “illegal” so, the dealer isn’t going to sell a car, that someone can technically pull out of the parking lot, and get a ticket for. And yes, you can definitely get window tint cheaper, this has just already been installed. So, this has that dealer markup. OTOH I know the tint shop they use, and I believe it’s Formula One Stratos, Nano Ceramic, which I got the homie hookup, on my commuter car, and it was $955. My Cruze hatchback is 8 windows, though, including the 70% on the windshield.

True on the illegal side. I have Suntek on my hatchback currently, so that’s why the cost was low. I bet your ride doesn’t get as hot during the summer.

Yeah, I had it on my last car, as well. The car is like a meat locker, with the A/C on, in the summer. The windshield, alone, cost about $250. But if you like to be comfortable, while you drive, it’s the best. I still drive with sunglasses, but if I forget them, for some reason, it’s not that bad.

I stopped by there this past Friday to see what they can offer for the PMM. Talked to Jason (nice guy) and told him I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. He got the sales manager involved, told him I wanted MSRP for it since the 2020’s are on the way. He says 2020’s are not in production yet. LOL! I know some dealers will be getting the 2020’s soon. I wanted to call him out on it but for the manager to BS me like that, tells me to go somewhere else. I’m not a good negotiator, just straight to the point. Congratulations on your CTR by the way!
Sorry to hear that. I worked with Elvira (sales) and Juan (financing) for what it's worth. Before I drove out there, we negotiated MSRP as long as I came in that night.

$33,682 invoice does not include destination. Invoice pricing on them are available on multiple websites. The PMM CTR we had is sold and being delivered today. I still have one left. It is rallye red. I made a post a few days ago saying I will take $500 off of MSRP. I will sell the red CTR for the same price I sold the PMM one for which is $36,500. No add ons or anything. That is $730 off of MSRP. If anyone is interested, my contact info is below.

As stated the PMM is sold, I did end up selling it to a somewhat local customer. Rallye Red for $36,500 is a hot deal!!! Serious inquires please call or email me. Like I mentioned before I am very familiar with shipping if that is part of the equation. At this time I do not have info on our 2020s and will post info once I know what we will be getting.

It’s all good. I’ll wait it out till 2020’s are on the showroom floors then I’ll bargain for the 19’s. Maybe I can get a good deal like yours. Thank you for the reply.

Well fam, I managed to find a unicorn in California.. A Crystal Black CTR at INVOICE! Yep, you heard that right at invoice in California.. I contacted many dealers in the low desert and was looking at the Honda dealer in Indio and in Cathedral City and turns out Honda of the Desert agreed to invoice without much hassle. What's most awesome about it, is that it came already tinted (at a decent percentage) at no charge at all.

Long time lurker here. Does anyone happen to have a lead on a 2020 CTR for MSRP around the PNW? Thanks!

I would play the email game right now. Find as many Honda dealers you are willing to travel to, email their sales department and let them know you are looking for a 2020 at MSRP. You might be able to strike up a deal directly via email, just like I did (I had to drive 3 hours to get mine at MSRP). I think buying an R is a lot different now than it was a year ago. Inventory is a lot higher, I think dealers will be willing to negotiate even on 2020s

For sure - if they start talking "$xxxx over MSRP", politely remind them that 2020s might be shipping in March. Some of these dealers have been sitting on cars for many months asking a premium, and they will probably have to sell at invoice or less once 2020s hit the ground.

Well they haven't even released the MSRP on the 2020 model have they? I can tell you from my experiences last week, the sales people that I interacted with in Cali were practically salivating at the thought of the 2020s. Not one of them had any inkling of selling at MSRP. But I truly hope that you can get it at your asking price!
