So, I was thinking about trading my car in so I can maybe get a manual but unfortunately being a broke college student that will be a long while unfortunately so after that I was thinking maybe I can upgrade my CVT’s internals so I can hold more power. Has anyone done this or had any experience with this type of thing? I know there was once an F1 car that had CVT.

Two words: Don't bother.

If you plan on pushing more power than the stock CVT can handle, that also means you'd probably need to upgrade the stock engine internals too. And you know what? All of that would cost quite a bit. Even if you had money, I'd recommend not doing all that and buying a performance car instead. Since you mentioned you're broke, it makes zero sense. None. Nada.

Nope! At least it hasn't been reported and/or documented here.

Most, but not all students are poor. Buying a new car is not a pipe dream. You can do it.
In contrast, unless you are Honda, Toyota, or Jatco or some similar organization, don't even dream about upgrading the CVT internals.
