Since Honda decided to pre-install the deck lid spoiler on the 2019 EX, making it impossible to add the wing spoiler, is anyone aware of an aftermarket spoiler (similar to the wing spoiler) that will go on the 2019 Sedan and can be installed without having to remove the deck lid spoiler?

I've been looking for years. Unfortunately the answer is no.

I know an aftermarket company could sell a ton of these too. They'd just have to design it to go on top of the existing mini lip spoiler and sort of use it as a base for the new spoiler. I've requested this before but no company is interested. Stupid move in my opinion because there are a ton of EX-T, EX-L and Touring sedan owners who would love something like this.

I think the main problem is that most of the aftermarket spoilers come from Asia and to my knowledge only the US cars have that little lip spoiler.

Bringing an old thread back to life...

I have the EX-L with the factory lip spoiler, and have been looking to add a wing. Found this one:

Looks like it should fit around the lip. I'm just not sure if it's color-matched paint, or just primer since the description says "primer color".

You could always take the factory lip off and put an aftermarket duckbill spoiler on it.

Yeh I installed myself, with the strong 3M tape from Autozone. Wiped down the trunk hood and the spoiler with alcohol, double lined the bottom of the spoiler with the tape, positioned on the hood and then laid down on it. LITERALLY laid on it to get maximum adhesive bonding

That's it????

Just 3M tape?

Any problems with it moving or shifting in the last 8 months?

Is there a provision to drill and screw it in place?

And did you hook up the LED brake light?

Thanks!

No issues, thatā€™s why I doubled line the perimeter with the tape. No wobbles, hold firm, good at high speeds, havenā€™t seen anything peel since Iā€™ve done it.

You could drill if you want, but if u plan to keep the car forever or swap the trunk in for a trade to the dealer.
-
and nah didnā€™t hook the led, thought it wouldā€™ve been overkill in brake lights, plus my windows are tinted and got that pulse safety feature already.

Thanks my man!

Appreciate it!

My Sport sedan is red, and it looks like this spoiler comes prepainted in factory colors, so have to decide if want to go with the factory Red, or go with Black - as I think that will also look good - as the Sport has all black trim pieces and even the factory lip spoiler is black.

No problem, and Iā€™d go black, if u wanna add a front lip, ikonmotorsport makes a lip for our refreshed models.

Any chance you could post some close up photos of the spoiler?

Would like to see how/where is it situated relative to the stock spoiler lip.

Thanks in advance!

I gotcha, found old some recent pics. I placed it right slap above it, so there wasnā€™t any gap showing.
