plasti dip ?

what are your thought on plastidipping the chrome window trim on the hatch?will it hold long?
dealer quote me 800$ to have the sport trims.......no way im paying that...hell no

Why not just wrap it? I wrapped the little rear window trim and it came out good and I have no experience wrapping.

Yea mines been holding up. Just make sure not to buy cheap vinyl. I bought mine from amazon. 3M brand.

What’s your wheel/tire set up? Your ride looks super slick. I think plasti-dipping/wrapping would look great, and I second the user above suggesting you do it yourself.

Say no to plastidip on your trim. You can get pre cut black vinyl on ebay for 24$ it will look better and last longer. Youd need to scuff up your trim pretty good for the plastidip to stick properly

Kooltints on ebay. Did mine on my si about 2 and a half years ago and still look great

I second this! Kooltints puts out a great product. My girlfriend and I installed the kit yesterday. He provides high quality vinyl that doesn’t bubble. First time I did this ever and install went great. It did help having a partner help with the excess.

I just did mine myself today. I asked the guy who did my tint how much he charges for “chrome deleting” the window trim and said he usually charges $200 but it only costs like $5 worth of material. He gave me a couple cuts of Avery matte black vinyl for free and gave me the gist of how to do it myself. I bought a little vinyl wrapping tool set for like 6 bucks on amazon and went to town today. It was a pain in the ass but it turned out pretty good and only cost me $6 in total.
