I don't have outdoor water access for hand washing, so I try and spray wash my car once a week.
Thing is, the lower half of the car is always dingy no matter how much I spray it.
Is there really any other option other than a good old hand wash.
Waterless wash can be your friend (along with several plush microfiber towels). I've had good success with Ultima. Basically, spray a section at a time and let soak. Then, gently wipe down. Finally, buff off to a shine with another clean microfiber towel.
During the winter when my pipes are winterized I always use a spray car wash. I have a method which is pretty gentle on the car to prevent swirls. My car is also ceramic coated though which is a big help as most stuff comes off with just the pressure washer. I hit it with some H2O Guard and Gloss from Adam's Polishes to help dry the car and leave it looking really shiny and for extra protection.
LOL was scouring the forums with the same question/situation too. I've used waterless wash in the past, and it has worked fine, but now that chicago is averaging 30s, I would like to not be out in the cold as much as possible. There's some hand carwashes out there I can just pay someone to do, but I'm paranoid from hearing people say those aren't that great for the pain either (reusing/dropping towels, etc).
I would like to hear what other people's ideas are too.
