I've been following this for some time. I've already adjusted my clutch pedal to bite right at the top and I've swapped out for Amsoil MTF. Neither seemed to fix my issue. Like OP, when I short shift (under 2K RPM) from 1st to 2nd, my shifter effortlessly slots into 2nd. If I'm driving more aggressively though, my shifter will lock me out of 2nd for 0.5 - 1 sec when shifting from 1st. It's like I'm hitting a wall that I can't push past. My old 10th Gen SI was crunchy from 1st to 2nd, but shifts were always immediate.

Does anyone else have this issue, and we're were you able to solve it?

Mines the opposite - I get locked out occasionally at low RPM going into 2nd and at higher RPMs it usually is either somewhat crunchy or goes right in. No adjustments made and still running stock trans fluid, which I may end up replacing before my next oil change.
