Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla has unveiled their new electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck. Starting at $39k, it's aimed squarely at the F-150 and Ram pickups. However, it looks so FUGLY, will anyone actually buy it? Tesla shares dropped 6% after the Cybertruck's unveiling. What do you think?

Didn’t think there was a worse looking truck than the redesigned Silverado HD..but this came along and might have topped it for me.

I just don’t get who this is truly for. It’s got an indestructible body (so to speak) and made to withstand bullets, all while providing up to 500 miles of range at the top trim with a 0-60 of 2.9seconds...

I guess the “vault” area is cool?

Fugly. Think of this as a low-cost prototype to pave way for a normal-looking truck few years later (look out, F150). This thing is low-cost due to the flat body panels. Basically weld several straight panels together and off you go. The team probably spent no more than a weekend on the body shape.

Would look cool on Mars. Not so much on Earth.

Maybe Elon Musk got Tesla and SpaceX mixed up and debuted his SpaceX Mars rover at a Tesla press conference?!?

Me and my buddy were just talking about this truck. I swear it looks like a kid drew a picture of a ufo/truck and they built it. Kinda cheesy looking to me. I’m sure the designers could’ve came up with something better then that

Man, you think that we get picked on in our cars. Wait until people try to drive in traffic in that.

It is literally a metal pentagon on wheels. It's both edgy and lazy design in one.

Looks like a lego I'd hate to step on. I've made better looking lego cars as a kid (honest).

Now THATis the definition of a Tonka truck. Both are funky, but then again its Tesla. The only good looking one IMO is the Model S. And I love how it has an ACTUAL dashboard. Gosh I hate the single screen in the center.

It looks like it should be in a fifties b rate sci-fi movie future car or it looks like the cars I used to draw when I was 5 years old
