It will not void the warranty. My Honda dealer changed the tranny fluid to Amsoil for me. However, leave the motor oil in there for at least 5k miles. It is a special blend that aids break-in, so wait for your first oil change to go full synthetic. You can switch the tranny oil whenever you like. Congrats on the new CTR!
Fantastic and thank you! I dont know what Im supposed to do for the next 9 days...its all I can focus on lol. I was also hoping to have my Raceseng shift knob here in time to swap out but it looks like they take afee weeks to arrive. Again, thanks for the advice and your time!

Mine sits about the same as stock not using the stock retaining nut and the Racesemg boot retainer. You can leave the stock lock nut in place and use the standard oem boot retainer which will raise it about 1/2”.

I got some driving in this evening and I think I am going to keep it like I have it installed. As shown above the slammer is 635 grams, almost 4.5x heavier than the stock Si shifter. It definitely translates and in my opinion provides a worthy positive difference in shift feel. Is it worth it? That will certainly depend on what each person feels individually. I would definitely order it again. Top notch quality and craftsmanship. I went subtle with gloss white as a throwback to the old Hurst cue ball type. Originally ordered gloss red but changed my mind after a 3 week backorder. Customer service is top notch at Raceseng as well.
Are you positive you can use the oem lock nut with the raceseng adapter (needed for threading)? I tried this and I couldn't get it to work so now I have a floppy boot attached to nothing. Maybe I was impatient or missing a step, but I was curious if you actually did this. Thanks

I was dead set on getting the OEM red leather shift knob, but when i found out about the price, that its lighter & sits too high, i started looking somewhere else.
Customized this Red Satin Slammer with Ring Engraving from the Raceseng website, and i couldn't be happier. QUALITY is Craaazzyyy! It took a lil while to arrive, but definitely worth the wait.

Is this shift knob larger than the stock on or the red oem one? Also how Is it in weather conditions? I like the stock shifter but wish it was larger.

I ordered when they announced their Black Friday on the 16th and just got it this past Saturday . I was surprised because they said custom knobs take 5-6 weeks. I guess they anticipated the number of orders and decided to pump out popular custom combos ahead of time. Great product and customer service

OK, maybe this is a stupid question but is that knob wrapped in black leather?

Thanks FK_8

I was trying to figure out if you used the boot adapter from Raceseng. So you kept the stock 14mm nut on? I may redo mine so the shifter is a little higher with the factory nut on.

I received my Raceseng on Friday but was waiting until I had time this am. I saw your post and figured you would be best to give me some help with the install. Hopefully you do not mind me posting in your thread, if so just shoot me a pm and I will edit it. I tackled the install this am. I did remove the shift boot plate and removed the original shift boot retainer as I did not understand that the original chrome retainer would work. I had ordered the Raceseng boot adapter so I used it.

Seems like I did things the hard way so for others seems there is no need to buy the boot adapter, just remove the shifter, stock lock nut, then install the threaded adapter onto the factory threaded shift rod. Thread knob on and done.

Anyway using the Raceseng boot adapter works well. Here are a few finished photos.

Love the way your shifter sits. Can you give me a link to the exact setup and adapter used to get rid of the chrome ring below the shifter??
