Alright ladies and gentleman! So my OEM brakes are done at 39,000km.

decided to upgrade them to EBC BSD rotors and Yellowstuff pads.

can’t get the install done till next weekend and I have a hockey tournament this weekend.

will give updates when they are on the car. The breaking in and how they are after they have broken in!

This will take me a while as I don’t drive tons in the winter unless it’s to hockey and work lol.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will respond to them as soon as I can!

Update:

Had the brakes installed today only got a couple pics as you can see below.

just starting the break in procedure. I will say the break in coating smells funny but other than that they work better than before. Will update page when they are fully broken in.

Update

I have finally completed the break in procedure. Definitely noticed an increase in stopping performance.

No noise when breaking just a much quicker bite when slowing down. Can hear a little noise slowing down rapidly but that im sure is the noise the discs screams by being slotted.

Great bang for your buck setup!

Are you just doing the front ones? or both front and rear with the new rotors and pads? I had looked at EBC but had issues finding anything for both front and rear for my 17 EX Hatch.

what part numbers did you go with if you do not mind me asking and where did you purchase them?

-R
Bought them through teknotik part numbers are as follows. Those prices were in Canadian as well. Doesn’t include shipping either.

Did this fit with stock oem calipers. Because the pads don’t look anything like the oem.

Oh okay, anything on the pictures I posted ^ should this fit?
I didn’t check if mine are bigger or smaller what are the part numbers you used?
If you ordered the correct parts they should work!

Your SI has bigger brakes, do not put the ones you bought on. You need to return them and get the SI brakes. Stock civic rotors are 281mm and SI are 320 I think. The pads are also bigger. The ones you bought will not fit properly and will be dangerous to use.
