This forum has been awesome! I've had the Si for about 9 months now, but I ordered a 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata GT-S (Soft top, manual, Eternal Blue Mica with tan interior) this weekend and will be trading the Si in. I pick the Miata up on Monday. I had a 2016 MX-5 and traded it in....shouldn't have done that. The Si is a great car, but the Miata speaks to me with soul and it's incredibly fun to drive, especially with the upgraded 2.0L engine. I'll shoot back in and post a picture. Great folks here, a lot of very helpful information, and wish all of you the best! Cheers! Mark

Forgot to add that I have a complete set of weathertech floor liners for a 2019 Si Civic Coupe (my guess is they fit any civic coupe of this year), the trunk liner and the LED cupholder lights with charge cord (these are really cool with like 16 programmable colors and the battery lasts a long time). If interested in any of these things.....message me.

The only time I've ever driven a Miata was way back in 2006. I do remember it feeling extremely light and handled very well, a true drivers car. Good luck with it!

Congrats on the new car! Very nice to see you are sticking with two doors

I'm interested in the trunk liner if you still have that available.

Just curious, but what did they give you for your Si?

I have it. It's two weeks old and brand new. LOL! It was $100 and I'll take $50 and I'll ship it. Message me. I have a full set of weathertech liners too.....perfect condition. I'll take $75 for those (front and back). They were like $200 new.

Solid upgrade! I rented a 2016 GT (manual, soft top, eternal blue mica, black leather) for a week, and I absolutely loved it! It didn't feel gutless with it's 155hp because it weighs 2,300lbs, but I bet the 2019 with 180hp definitely feels peppy. For anyone wondering, the 2019+ does 0-60 faster than an Si!

Brilliant shifter, hunkered down sports car feel, all aluminium suspension, and just so well balanced! Aiming to have one in a few years alongside the Si if all goes well :)

Can't hate on someone trading in for a manual miata. Gotta keep the fun cars alive!
If you were buying a crossover/suv however... :bat:

Hey man, congrats! I've never driven a Miata, but have heard all kinds of good things about them. And with the NA 2.0L revving to 7500 rpm...sweet! Some advice. DO NOT MESS WITH THE EXHAUST! Please for God's sake. We have a Jr. Engineer here who put in a custom exhaust in his Miata, and you can hear him a block away. Don't do it!
