So my cousin backed up into my car.. didn’t tell me about for a week. Anyways, I have tried to search for a fix but nothing seems to show up. The whole emblem casing has been pushed backed. I wanted to know if anyone here knows how to fix this. Sorry about the salty photos. I took them right after I seen the damage. Thanks in advance.

You'll probably have to replace the grill insert.

Would this require taking the bumper off?
To be honest I am not sure, I have never replaced that part. I can say that removing the bumper cover is not really a big deal.

Okay cool :), thanks for the quick replies! Little bit stressed but thanks for the reassurance.

Yea you’d probably have the replace the part that holds the emblem in place unless the grill is damaged. Then you’d have to replace both. I’ve taken my bumper off like 5 times. It’s super easy

yes, you'll need to remove the bumper cover to access 4 (i think, maybe 3) screws holding the top grille on.

now pushing it back out? not sure if that will work, may just have to buy a new grille... or live with it.... or make him pay for it

removing the bumper cover is super easy, i've done it plenty of times. all you need is a flat head and Philips screwdriver and a 10mm socket. look up youtube vids and just take your time, you'll get it off.

EDIT:
if you're still covered under warranty, take it in and say it just fell out. clean up any marks when he backed into it, worth a shot

a grill is a cooking surface

the emblem is held in by two rivets.

remove the bumper cover and the top grille and you should be able to push the emblem back
