Actually YOU should do your own research before posting. There's a tuning survey here and CivicX members are using KTuner at a 3-1 rate over Hondata.

https://www.civicx.com/threads/tune...nce-survey-si-non-si-type-r-with-stats.42361/

Plus the two most respected tuners for them 10th gen (first Vit and now Derek) have stated they prefer KTuner.
Oh reallly is it that's why neither of the could fix that punk who wasn't making the power with ktuner tunes and the tsp huh

I used a 275 torque limit on Winols to reach 0-60mph of 5.5s, and on Ktuner I was able to reach 5.2
KTuner has no torque limit. Excessive boost value and ignition will likely cause rapid damage to the CVT gearbox. Manual transmissions don't need to worry about these

Hondata would need to validate and clarify the claimed 250 nm "safe" maximum torque for 1.5T CVT. Honda Accord 1.5T is using the same L15B7 engine and also CVT but it has higher torque (260 Nm, 1600-5000 RPM). It has lower compression ratio vs. the Civic.

If Honda Accord is using the exact same CVT as the Civic, Hondata will need to research back their claim and informed the actual safe torque based on real life dyno instead of marketing prepared communications.

I'm more afraid of bending conrod than the CVT. However, if all components is the same as Civic but the tune, I would tune my Civic to the level of stock tuned Honda Accord.
