@Josh/AWE In your opinion, is the drone much different on the track version? I'm about to order either the touring or track edition. I would prefer the more aggressive sound, but I can't really tell from the videos how much difference normal driving would be between the two.

I have no first hand experience with exhaust drone on a car like this. I'm coming from a Firebird Trans Am with a badass exhaust system, but it's fairly quiet in 6th in the highway.
Whippleman , I have the track edition and I don't have any problems with loudness or excessive drone. Good thing is if you don't like the track edition, you can add the resonator from the Touring edition.

I see you have the track one. The picture I’m attaching is mainly what I was referring to on the touring. The canister and all the other welds look pretty rough. I guess I’m used to see other welds. Idk if it’s just the color or what. Just wanted to make sure it’s good quality. I know AWE in the past has a good reputation just wasn’t sure about the welds. I get my exhaust in the mail tomorrow so I guess I’ll see.

They're not going to fail. Welds are solid.

Can anyone comment on the welds? People on fb are saying they look rough and cheap. I don’t mind if they look rough so long as they won’t fail.
Rough and cheap? What?!

I wonder if those people know the difference between MIG and TIG. MIG, while it doesn't have the pretty rainbow aesthetic as TIG, is structurally sound and you don't have to worry about something "failing."

The drone frequencies become really active on acceleration and decel on the Track Edition. Touring keeps it full bodied exhaust note at all times, with no drone.

Would it be possible to order like a pseudo-DIY kit w/o the front pipe? I'm pretty happy with my current aftermarket front pipe, and wouldn't mind spending a bit of time at the exhaust shop to get the pieces to work.

I feel dumb for asking this but for anyone that has installed this exhaust, did you find your tips were hanging down really low? From the pictures on their website, it seems the tips are still near the diffuser but my tips are hanging really low. Some youtube videos look similar to mine but other pictures show it higher. I don't see a way to adjust mine but mine definitely looks like something is amiss.

I have the AWE Track edition. Got it professionally installed, but I am having issues with rattles/squeaks. The techs checked it out and apparently the rattles are coming from the area noted below in the image ...Having difficulties getting rid of that rattle/squeak.

Maybe some advice?

The piece holding the tips is upside down. Flip it the other way

I kinda thought that lol but wasn't sure. So without the tips on, the muffler tip section has an angle to it and they point up. You saying I should still flip that?

Ive heard another person fix it by adjusting the pipes. Loosen the clamp and move the muffler/resonator piece further away, giving the hangers more space if that makes sense. These pipes have to be all fitted correctly for the most part

So push it further back towards the engine?
