That the doors lock when shutting the trunk! I go surfing frequently and constantly have to remind myself to put the keys outside of the car - and luckily have yet to lock myself out, but does anyone else find this incredibly annoying? I got an LX MT because I like basic... To my knowledge there is no way to disable this as we don't get the auto lock features on higher trims. Maybe this has prevented stupidity leading to break-ins for some people but dangit Honda, how can such an annoying feature satisfy the masses! Or were you just trying to sell higher trims with petty things like this and the lack of intermittent wipers:banghead:

Rant over...
I believe if you double tap the unlock door button to unlock the trunk, you can close the trunk without the doors auto locking vs using the trunk unlock button.

I don't mind the electric parking brake I just wish it was rear only.
The Headlight switch needs to illuminated. My GF drove home the other night and she apparently took it off Auto. So running lights only. You cant see the setting. Sucks.
Fogs up too easily.
Hesitation. I'll get over it because when the Turbo kicks in it's all good. You just learn to stomp it sooner.
Road noise. (im going to use sound deadening when I replace the door speakers (x4 on hatchback)
Speaking of I'd hate to replace the rears on a sedan...damn.

I had a 2017 sedan for 40k miles. Traded in on a 2019 Hatch Turbo. Very glad I did,

What's wrong with the "lights on" indicator on the dashboard?

1st you can’t see that from the passenger side
2nd if you are unfamiliar with the car you prob wouldn’t notice that
3rd it’s clearly misleading as you demonstrate because it doesn’t distinguish running light from headlights it’s on for both

Even better than looking at anything is to just check by turning the switch all the way and then back one click, if you want to be in auto. No need to take your eyes off the road; I do it routinely to be sure my lights are on (or off). But at least on my car there is an additional indicator for auto high beams. If that's on while driving at road speed, it means I'm fully lighted.

It is only the rear brakes that have the parking brake motors integrated.

I know but when someone isn't familiar with the car. And...LEDs are just bright enough that on a lighted street it can be easily to think your lights are on.

So a Saturday night we're at a bar I've had a few so GF is the DL.
We leave the parking lot and are sitting in a left turn lane when I say "Hey babe I don't think your lights are on" What? they arent? are you sure. Yeah Im pretty sure. Ok where's the (panic sets in) where the switch?
Its on the blinker.

So there you go. Yeah she figured it out but not cool to be an invisible switch. Get you ass pulled over trying to find the f'ing lights.

I don't think so man. I've dumped the E Brake and it sinks the front end. Mines a CVT and don't know about yours but mine locks up the front

Go look at your calipers. There aren't motors on the front ones.

Pulled out my manual and found the info about the electric parking brake. While the car is in motion, if you apply the EPB, the vehicle uses the VSA system to apply brakes to all four wheels until the vehicle comes to a stop, at which point the parking brake is applied. So I wasn't wrong about the motors, but I definitely didn't realize what happens if you apply the EPB at speed.

That makes sense. So more correctly I wish I could use the switch to lock up the back brakes while moving but it doesnt. No fun at all. lol

Tell me about it. Once I was the designated driver in a rental Prius but I hadn't quite figured out how the lights work. I had only less than half a mile to drive, but soon I was standing on one foot while looking at the sky and counting one Mississippi, two Mississippi..... Since then I always first check how the lights work in an unfamiliar car.....

MAJOR: AC whining/whistling noise & Honda Service giving me the brush off so far.

MAJOR: Manual shifter binding - crunches in/out of gear. Honda Advisors at least admit to the AC issue, but deny this as normal operation. No F'n way.

MINOR: Cheap as hell thin cloth on door & center console armrests. The place that sees the most contact with skin (steering wheel aside) and they go paper thin here?

MINOR: Gotta figure out what's up with the intermittent wipers?? Too slow or hella fast. No adjustment?

MINOR: Why the Sport Hatch is the only trim without a sunroof option?!? Why?

Beyond that I really do like it! Looks great. Smooth & peppy enough for a daily driver.

With winter actually, finally arriving to WNY, the fact that the wiper blades are below the level of the dash and there is no other provision to deice them. They were still mostly frozen to the windscreen after I had cleaned the car of snow AND shoveled my driveway.

The majority of the Honda Sensing Suite. I've already ranted about it in another thread, so not going all out here.

Suffice it to say I feel that it is overly sensitive, overly intrusive, and easily confused. I generally have it mostly turned off, which defeats the purpose of having it.
