Update:
They showed the same exhaust as last year at SEMA. Optional titanium tips.

I'm getting really annoyed that there's no non sport hatch options. I realize the whole "r&d" argument but all it requires is reshaping pipes for the hatch options

Seems to be a bit obnoxiously loud. For reference I have the Greddy SP on my hatch.

It is a straight pipe design with no mufflers

it actually does have mufflers. They are the ā€œtipsā€ itā€™s a straight through muffler design.
Basically straight pipe lol. You can literally get the same exact sound with a muffler and resonator delete. I heard it in person already and for the price I wouldn't get it.

Iā€™ve heard it too and it sounds good. It has mufflers, regardless if itā€™s the straight through design it still muffled the sound good enough to make it sound good. Iā€™ll be buying one at the end of this month

The Greddy SP is already pretty loud and drones at load. DD-R will probably be a bit louder. Hope you got forgiving neighbors.

I received my exhaust in a couple of weeks ago but just recently got time to install it. All I can say is WOW! I am very pleased with everything about the system. From build quality, to fitment, and especially to sound. I am running a completely stock 2018 FK8 with no engine mods.

The exhaust has a nice sound at idle, but throaty when taking off. There is little to no drone at cruising speeds 65-80, but when at WOT, especially from 3500-redline it sounds great.

I called greddy when I first received the box as I didnā€™t know the system was going to include a resonator. The gentlemen on the phone said it was something they added last-minute to kill the drone, only on the Type Rā€™s (standard model gets no resonator). I have an F22c1 (Cat only, no muffler) that also doesnā€™t sound nearly as good.

I really do think this is a super great sounding exhaust, especially with the extra resonator in there. Loud enough to let others know in a parking lot that youā€™re car is not stock, quiet while cruising at highway speeds, yet sounds mean as hell when floored.

Conversation and radio volume in the car while driving is almost identical to before under normal driving conditions. My 2yo still falls asleep in her car seat regularly. Iā€™ll try to get a cold startup video uploaded this week, meanwhile here are a few pics.

Also a big thanks to the guys at Evasive for the great customer service in getting this exhaust ordered and shipped out to me asap.
