Who are you to make a judgment on me?
I own two successful businesses, you know nothing about me.

I live in suburban Chicago and your salesman is In Indianapolis, so it’s not like I’m going to drop on over.

I tried to give your buddy a chance for the sale and he blew it and I lost a PMM which I was looking for.
He is my salesperson. Please don't associate him with the other poster. My response to you was non-judgemental. You asked what kind of salesman he was, I answered based on 25+ years of buying cars from him. He is a good and decent human being. We are not social friends only a salesman/customer relationship. I could give you a long list of his deeds of going above and beyond normal salesperson duties.
That being said, you had a "bad experience" and have every right to vent.
The other poster who provided an unrequested, uninformed, and totally unproductive judgement of you, has nothing to do with me or the salesperson. I hope you will separate the two. Good luck in your pursuit of a the type R.

Not my salesman (not sure how he blew it as he sold the car).

Not my buddy.

A serious buyer would not wait days for a call back from a salesman on a ‘hot’ deal.
You are full of yourself. You can pass judgement on who is a serious

Who are you to judge whether someone is a serious buyer or not? Looking at your posting history you like throw rocks at others and make personal attacks and judgements on others. If you are not adding value to a post, stay out of it!!!

Sorry Mr. Big Shot. You lost the sale. You're nothing more than a pleb calling on the phone until you step foot into the dealership. You should've called back over and over until you got him on the line and placed a deposit on the vehicle. Instead you lost a good deal on the best and second rarest color available.

IndyBill and Sharp's RRR - I'll give this one more shot...

Apparent nice guy IndyBill shares a hot deal on a new CTR. Deal is with the dealer and salesman where he bought his CTR.

Sharp's RRR calls IndyBills salesman and leaves a message. Salesman doesn't call back for four days and now car is sold. Was the delay is the return call poor salesmanship? Yes. But we also don't know the whole story - was the salesman off work, was he already working with another potential buyer, did the dealership wish to sell the car to a local buy first, etc.

IMO a serious buyer is calling the dealership almost immediately after leaving a message with IndyBills salesman. Keep in mind that IndyBill posted the deal in the CTR as (or below) NICE LIST thread.

Now Sharp's RRR is butthurt because he missed the deal and calls out the salesman and doesn't like that he was called out for not being more proactive. And Sharp's RRR is confused in thinking the salesman is my guy.

Also IndyBill, who initially thanked the post for roundabout defending his salesman, now is buddying up with Sharp's RRR and attacking those with different opinions on the topic. IndyBill is also confused on the players in this conversation as he PM'ed me but the message was intended for Sharp's RRR (oh, IndyBill, thanks for calling me a clown in the PM....).

So, what have we learned? Salesmen are unreliable. Buyers need to be proactive. Reading comprehension is helpful when having an internet conversation. If you want to participate on the internet, have a bit thicker skin.

Overall a good wrap up. I actually (if you followed and comprehended (cheap shot, sorry) this thread) bought my CTR at another dealership (I wanted CW and got a deal that couldn't be matched) and not through my salesperson. Your supposition as to why the sales person did not call back may be true. Like I said in the pm I'm not making excuses for him. It doesn't matter what I think, he had a bad experience. I have shared that in my experience he has gone above and beyond for 25+ years.
I am in favor of people sharing opinions. Declaring that someone is Butthurt, not a serious buyer, are personal attacks, and serve no purpose. That's passing judgement not an opinion. This forum is great to get advice, opinions, to help everyone in their decisions. I am so appreciative of people sharing their experiences and advice. Even though I disagreed with the assessment of my sales person, I would like to see RRR get his car. I don't see or understand the value of injecting ones personal shots at people in a posting. If your not contributing stay out. I do apologize for calling anyone, and you, a clown, I should have referred to the comments as being clownish, not you.

So your criteria to participate is to have thick skin. My criteria is be helpful, including opinions and criticisms, or scroll along.

Happy driving!!!

The pm misaddressed:
I don't know who this clown is who is passing judgement on you. He has nothing to do with me or Adrian.

I'm not going to make excuses for my sales guy, he's a big boy. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with him.

Have found your car yet? If I get a heads up on a deal would you like me PM you about?

Good luck.

You are correct. I confused the both of you. I should have paid better attention.
Thanks

And yes, he should have kept his 2 cents to himself. I’ve been in several forums over the years, and that’s the number one thing I dislike about them.

Bruh I'm 6'1" 300. You ain't smashing nobody. LOL This post solidifies why you didn't get the deal and why you don't deserve it.

I'm also currently driving my PMM CTR around. You're on the forum making VTEC noises...

Is this the upside down or something....
