Dear aftermarket: I (and I'm sure many others on this forum) would 100% jump on civic lx turbo kit. Just look at all the 10th gen K20s in Canada and all of the remorseful LXs in SoCal.

The car never wants for power in most daily driving, but do I want more? Hell yes I do.

Just found out the si MT casing is same part number as ours. And someone successfully transferred an si trans on a hatch. Would need driver si axle and mid idler shaft.

you're still going to need a way for the ECU to see positive manifold pressure.

It uses the map sensor to calculate how much boost and vacuum there is in the intake manifold. The oem map sensor is 2 bar (up to 14ish psi of boost) maf, map, and injectors can be recalibrated. Ktuner said it wasn’t recommended but not impossible.

Plus if one person was able to run a turbo and actually drive it then who says you can’t?

Except that 10th gens are MAF tuned and you cant tune speed density/map on them. You need a stand alone ecu. The dude claiming to run Ktuner here was lying as the owner of Ktuner said its not possible. Sure it can start up and run but its not being ran or tuned correctly.

I saw the dudes videos on insta doing pulls and hasn’t blown up ??‍♂ I think he mentioned upgrading injectors. Either way, the ecu can still calculate with maf for boost. Run bigger maf to prevent maxing out the maf and rescale.

Thats no how any of this works. That dude also said he built the engine when there weren't even any pistons and rods available. Just because something runs, doesnt mean its right. I dont know why you all cant just accept it. There just isnt currently a way to correctly and safely boost on on the factory ecu period.

.. just swap out for a k20c4 ECU..?? It's how we done this in the past gens, to add VTEC and stuff

doesnt work that way on these new gens. If it was simple like everyone thinks it was in the past, it would have been done already

I just need to ecu to control fuel delivery and timing, and the scg-1 boost controller with built in afr sensor will control the turbo with added safety. And like I said... I’ve seen the proof that it’s been done, videos of him doing pulls without detonation/blowing up. It’s out there, it’s already been done. Nothing is impossible......

Damn.. I was just thinking an IM and head from the c4 with all OEM c4 sensors, c4 ECU, and appropriate extra wires + ECU pins/connectors for whatever else needed would've taken care of it

K20c4 goes in accord 2.0t and there’s a lot that takes in play with the b-can and f-can networks
