Possessed infotainment system: constantly beeping

Randomly starts beeping as if the back button is being pressed.



Anyone else experiencing this issue?

So the only recommendation is to reset the infotainment system?

I'll give it a try.

Reboot is always the first thing to try. But cleaning the screen, inspecting mechanical buttons (steering wheel) for spilled coffee/soda, and adjusting the screen's sensitivity sometimes can be helpful. My money is on the software, though. Hope ya' get it sorted out.

day one after reset and I have not had the issue

I had the same problem on mine. Resetting it worked temporarily, but I ended up taking it to the dealer. My SA is very up to date with Civic issues and scheduled me for a software update at no charge. Haven't had the issue since.

Edit: Just checked the documentation and it says they performed SB 17-048 and SB 17-049

yep my 16 Touring doing same thing all of a sudden. It did this early on and they did software updates to fix it but now its 3 1/2 years old and started doing it again.. how new are those SB's ?
