Hello everyone,

I own 2019 CIVIC Sport Touring (1.5 - 182HP). the car is in mint condition, without any reason, the ACC, LKAS warning showed on my screen.

ACC, LKAS Check system, the orange brake indicator and the information indicator, no other warning was shown.

I saw in the owners manual that this might be caused because if dirty sensor, but my car is showroom condition, so I can't understand the reason. Even with turning off the engine and back on it's still showing ACC LKAS check system. Is there a quick fix or take it back to the dealership?

Try posting this in the Audio/Nav/Electronics subforum: https://www.civicx.com/forums/audio-nav-electronics.13/

Only the 2020 Civic Si models have ACC and LKAS, so the majority of Si owners won't be able to give you input for this issue.

I agree with the owner's manual that it could be a dirty sensor. Try getting a car wash and see it goes away.

When my Sensing camera died; I got multiple errors. Maybe yours is limited to the RADAR unit.

In addition to the external cleanliness; you may want to check to see if anything foreign (like an Oak leaf) managed to work its way inside the RADAR housing. Some folks have reported that a large pothole or minor collision will knock the thing out of calibration.

When my cam went out; there was nothing I could do to reset or disable the system. I begged Honda to just make it shut up until the part came in. They couldn't. So I had to live with the scrolling error message and the 'door open' gong for 30 days.

I hope your issue is something simple (like a wayward leaf).

Good luck.

P.S. If you have recently applied Rain-X or something like that to the windshield; you may have to remove it. If someone with greasy little fingers got curious about the camera; the lens may need cleaning. Etc. You get the idea.

Honda checked the car over and the camera censor has died. New part on order. Not bad for a 4 months old Civic Sports.

Mine has the same fault as yours. Took it to Honda and they checked the car over to find camera sensor has bit the dust. New part on order, not bad for a 4 month old Civic Sports. Onwards and Upwards still love the car.

Mine died before the 30 day mark with less than 400 miles. It happens. Glad they got it sorted out.
