Is boost enhanced in sport mode?

I have viewed both ... No boost difference in sport mode. Only a more aggressive shift point program. I have also seen the suggestion that stock boost is higher in sport mode? I don't know about you but my sport mode setting is terrible. Shifts are worse than normal ... All kinds of rpm surge ... I am not a fan ... But ... Do I have LESS boost in normal mode??? Thanks CC

I think it just keeps RPMs higher for peak torque with the cvt

for SI the throttle response changes and yes the boost pressure is more

...or the suspension just tightens up a bit.

When I put my Si in sport more, I can barely tell any difference. The suspension is slightly tighter and my intake is louder. That's about it.

Honda has said that the suspension firms up and that throttle response quickens but I don't think the boost rises.

Only thing I notice is that the steering gets a little stiffer.

Op needs to clarify if he is talking about S mode in a cvt or sport mode in a Si. Your talking shift points yet posting in a Si forum? You got a few of us confused

Si for sure To retort there actually IS a shift point optimization for a manual transmission. This is why you see the dash light SHIFT with some models.

It might tell you a different time to shift but it doesn't actually effect your shifting

No boost changes. Honda specifically calls out throttle mapping, ADS, and steering.

Hadn't heard of shift points before.

Slightly better throttle response, suspension tightens a bit, as well as steering. Boost levels only increase if you are tuned and the boost level is tied to Sports mode (for example TSP's stage 1 tune MAP 2 19/21
