considering a civic - 2016 ex-t sedan

Hi there,

I"m new to this board. I wanted to get some advice on used civics. I'm looking for a sedan version and I was wondering what the experience has been with the 2016 EX-T. I think that was the first year for the 1.5L turbo and perhaps significant body style changes? I'm in Canada and there is a low kms one fro $17,000 Cdn that I"m considering. I liked the ride, the gas mileage is impressive also.

Also what have folks' experience been with trying to negotiate price down at honda dealers? any tips appreciated. We just got rid of our 2006 bought new nissan x-trail SUV so have been out of the car market for a LONG time.

Welcome to the board. Although 2016 was the first year for the tenth generation Civics and the 1.5L turbo, that is not a problem. I have read a lot of discussions on this site, and no one has been complaining about the 2016's. I have a 2018 EX-T and it is very good.
