If you live in CA, I feel sorry for you. Cars are huge part of my life so I would never want to live there, or any other states that have the same strict regulations. Where I live, you can pass with a high flow cat, I did with my Prl catted downpipe with flying colors.
Don’t feel sorry for cali people, all the best modded cars are all in california

Wrapped up the frontpipe/downpipe with exhaust heat wrap to help keep under hood temps down a bit since the downpipe sits right underneath the intake and to help expel exhaust gasses faster. Install will be tomorrow!

Nice job with the wrap! Do you remember how much wrap you used? I plan on doing the same thing but I'm not sure if I should get a 50ft roll or 100ft.

To be honest I do not remember how much ft of wrap I used. Better to be safe than sorry so I would just get the longer roll of wrap.

I bought the 100ft and probably used around 35-40 ft of wrap. I"m actually probably going ot remove mine and double wrap it since I have so much left!

Thank you! I think I will get the 50ft wrap then. You are running a 2.5 inch downpipe/frontpipe? I thought I read that somewhere.

Starts 3" and necks down to 2.5", if you do the math you will still have plenty of extra. I went back and looked since you were concerned, my 100ft came in 4 rolls of 25 ft. I didn't even use all of my 25ft roll, I expect you will with the 3" but I didn't and wrapped it with 1/2 overlap and super thick on the bends.

PLM fitment issues are well known. They tried to copy a popular brand and failed miserably. Even PLM knows the fitment isn't right. Sorry for your trouble. :(

I wouldn’t expect any exhaust product to make this motor sound good, maybe if it’s cracked open and built, maybe then it would. Still have yet to hear something that I think is actually decent as far as no rasp/drone and having a deep tone that’s not to loud.
The Greddy SP has a nice, deep, fairly quiet tone even at WOT. Very minimal drone at highway speeds.
