I ordered my 2020 Type-R in August and just got it last week, first one in the area. Had a ‘13 Si until this one. Drove a ‘17, ‘18 and ‘19 before I decided to order the 2020 and now I’m glad I waited. The suspension in R mode is incomparable to the older models, very noticeable difference but the brake changes however, definitely don’t live up to the hype IMO. I don’t have enough time behind the wheel of the previous years to really compare to them, however the raving I had heard about the new braking system hasn't impressed me that much actually being behind the wheel.

Is there an obvious side mirror bulge? Hopefully, will be just BSM sensors/indicators instead of the camera.
If Honda really wants to implement safety, why not just add side mirror turn signals like they did with other markets? Probably the cheapest most effective safety measure if someone is caught in a blind spot.
I have 19, i have side mirror turn signal. But i am canadian

Hate to burst your bubble but if that's your car in your avatar. You don't have a 2020 Type R.

Honda sensing = annoying garbage that will undoubtedly fail in some amount of years and will be super pricey to fix.

Revised suspension = yawn. Honda doesn't go into any specific details so I bet the sum of changes really doesn't change all that much.

Blue = fucking hideous. Sorry, but the Focus RS looks good in blue. The CTR with red accents looks like a clown car.

Revised shifter = anyone with a bit of time and $50-100 can improve their shifter feel by buying an after market part, or two.

Interior changes = potentially curious. Unnecessary, but sure, I'll bite.

2 piece rotors = this has me very interested. I'll grab a set when they become available, assuming they're cheaper than the aftermarket versions.

Improved grill = this seems minor at best. Guys have spent small fortunes on trying to improve cooling on their cars with some success. I get the feeling the grill itself will allow you an extra 9 seconds on the track before going into limp mode. It's not fixing anything.
Ridiculous-defense-of-purchase-posturing.

I'm surprised by the Honda Sensing hate. It's a pretty welcomed feature. Canadians got the lane watch and it's fantastic. I wish we got all the Honda Sensing features.

I can't believe someone would take sonic grey pearl over this new blue color. The new blue looks great imo.

I don't think it was a lie, I just think the person straight up doesn't know any better.
Even if she purchased a 2019 thinking it was a 2020 surely she would have noticed when setting up insurance and registration that the car was not a 2020.

The blue is fantastic as are the inclusion of 2-piece rotors. This is a pretty impressive refresh by Honda as the car is simply better than the outgoing version.

It's also a 1 post account, so could be just a shitty troll attempt.
