LMAO!

For real tho, I'm on my 3rd one
I broke my skid plate the first week I had my vehicle.

I don't know if anything has changed, but you have to purchase the whole front under body lining to the that piece.

At least the parts for this car are reasonably priced.

And if you have other people doing your oil changes, look underneath the car and make sure they actually put the plate back on and attach all the fasteners.

Every. Single. Time.

Those idiots will try to tell you that you must have run over something and somehow loosened the 2 screws in the front to the point they unscrewed themselves all the way out... Sorry sir I grew up a machinist, if that happened you would shear the bolts off and be left with threaded studs inside the holes. In order for that to happen, you would have to hit the exact point on both screws where it loosened just a bit, like a 1/4 turn. Over and over. Like 50 times. That's the only way this even makes sense. Then, they'll try to tell you everything is fine when you've been dragging the skid plate all the way to the dealer and a big chunk is missing, and that they "will do you a solid and not charge you for the clips". Luckily I was about to trade the car so I just wanted to never go back to these idiots, and left. Unbelievable. I'm doing all my oil changes from now on.

Idk man, dropping $120 every time a rock takes out the splash guard (can't call it a skid plate because it doesn't protect anything) sucks.

I used to work at a oil change place and one of the guys would cut a hole where the filter was!

That's why I do all my work myself, especially oil changes.

Ebay, the user for sale sections of forums, Facebook Marketplace if you wanna look for 1 being parted out locally. big national junkyards, like Pull-a-Part will list the cars they have in their inventory by location and you can see if the one nearest you has any then head in hoping no one has gotten the part you want.
