So around 3 days ago I installed my eibach sportlines and the install went good with all the springs but the driver front was a bitch to get back in, wrestled with it for about 10 minutes and got it back in and I noticed there was some grease dripping a little the second it got installed. Didn’t think nothing of it at the time cause there was no obvious leak, come today I go to get a oil change at the Honda dealership and one of the service managers wanted to point out to me that there’s an axel grease leak. I check it out and this is what I come to see, now I’m not sure we’re the leak is coming from if it can be from the rubber boot. Or if it needs a new seal I would like to know some of your guys‘s thoughts on it

This happens all the time with springs installs on these cars. I will say that this leak looks worse than most. Replacing the boot would be fine but you may find that is more trouble than it is worth, as opposed to replacing the whole axle assembly. A dealer is typically not going to just replace the boot. They are a pain to deal with unfortunately.

I just replaced an axle assembly on my wife's Pilot to fix a torn CV boot. $450 parts and labor.

Sorry that happened.

This is the norm for lowered cars. It was premature for the axle to already leak but best to go OEM and replace it.
