RapidTac does make it easier, good reviews and experience.

Sorry to hear about your flat, at least it was between outer treads vs replacing tire.

Sounds like you have some exciting mods lined up and I look forward to seeing pics/YouTube videos once complete. If you feel like sharing pics of shift knob or anything else you do, some of us get a kick out of that and often learn from skilled peeps like you , FatherPain, too many others to mention.

I’m considering a Race Chip since thee HQ in FL is close by. I’m not much into tinkering to where you can screw things up as I feel I’d know just enough to be dangerous with KTuner or Hondata but supposedly either is fine if you don’t tweak downloaded tunes. Guess deep down I don’t want to change ECU itself when piggyback can do close to same thing. Rather have their pro set things up (they’ve done Si but not an R yet) and just select a profile (E,S,R via phone app on the fly) prolly doing that next week.

Swapped the OEM pads with Hawk HPS ones. Only took 20 minutes. No more squeaking in cold temps. today. HPS pads feel just as good.

Performed the much needed Civic dome light hack. Took all of 10 minutes to complete. No idea way honda didnt include this 1 extra 2 feet of wire... wont let me upload a video, but basically, when I turn on my dome light or open my doors, the map lights come on as well, and still perform as normal when everything is off.

I already tried these and no luck for me, almost the same as the OEM ones, now I’ll try the Akenobo brand. I know the initial bite wont be the sane as the Hawk or the brembo ones for dust will be minimal and no noise that’s all I have heard about them.

Side Markers. Sweet! Before (yellow) and after (black). Now, I'm like, super cool. New side markers added 35HP to my ride too!! :headbang::D:D
