Looking for stock Hatchback Sport muffler.

Haven’t been on here for months...
I’m looking for a Hatchback sport muffler. I want to change the boring rear end on my LX. Wondering if anyone here did the change? Details

I didn't think it was a direct swap?

I do not think it is possible, due to a different rear floorpan that will not clear the center pipes. And there are 2 mufflers on the Sport / Sport Touring models.

I have one, but I don't think it will fit your car without significant modification

I thought the floors were the same in all models ?

my understanding is the Sport/Sport touring have decreased cargo room to accommodate the center mount exhaust. I have a sport muffler assembly in my garage. I can take pics for you later so you can see the mounting points. I would offer to sell it, but it weighs like 25-30 lbs and is funky shaped, so shipping across the border might be a nightmare.

Where are u located? I've got one almost brand new really, I cut it off after 1k miles and made a custom exhaust.

Unless you modify your spare wheel pan and hangers, a Sport exhaust isn’t going to fit the LX. There’s a few options available if you really want a center exhaust.

I’m in Canada (east coast) so it would be better if I could find something close by...
I might just try to fabricate something myself after all. I don’t want to chop the trunk on a new(ish) car.....

Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking ... probably get at it this summer. Thanks for the link. It confirms that I can in fact do it. I was wondering if I had enough space to do it.
