Well, the horses will always be there regardless. I'm no tree hugger (although I do play one on TV), but now we have horses PLUS automobiles. If you really want to see some egregious fouling of the atmosphere, I suggest going to many places in Asia and see what the vehicles over there are belching out.Horses convert biomass to carbon dioxide and methane which they exhaust and fart out. And they can't be turned off. They have a substantial carbon hoofprint.
On the start/stop topic though, my daughter drives a 2019 Jetta, which is equipped with this wonderful technology . The first order of business when driving this car is to hit the off button immediately after starting it. Unfortunately it defaults to on at each start.
And yes, Scotty has the carnival barker act down pat.
