So i recently did a res delete and 3 things I noticed. 1st the car is still quite, it's only somewhat loud during cold starts. 2nd the car does mini pops and gurgles below 2500 rpm, and top end still sounds the same. 3rd I can feel an increase of power in the mid range. Possible placebo effect idk...

I'm asking the 10th gen family on thoughts and answers about possible power increase??

I'll post a cold start vid asap.

It’s most likely a placebo effect, the factory OEM exhaust is actually pretty damn efficient as it is, especially if everything else on your car is stock. The resonator is a straight through design, so there wouldn’t be any real change in back pressure or exhaust restriction reduction. You might have lightened the car a couple of pounds, but in real world driving any performance effects you may have gained are going to unnoticeable.

I messed around with my exhaust on my LX too. Noticeable loss of power once your delete the exhaust or just the muffler or resonator. A tune helped.

I would disagree strongly with a loss of power. It's possible that the torque curve moved upward. Meaning ... Less restriction on the exhaust pushed the TQ peak higher up on the rpm band. Net is the same. This is also what is often said with the addition of a CAI ... Less restriction ... Max TQ is still present but at a different position. I feel it's a bit more of a ring out the process ... The upper range becomes more interesting.

Couldn’t have said it better!

There is a ton of reading.
Use the "Search Tool" in the upper right of the window and just read about just anything you wish to know.
