Wonder if this one has overheating issues?

I’ve seen one of these at the glen and it didn’t look like he had any problems lol. Won the race, hauled ass for the whole session.

That's a TC, not a TCR.

The TC has no air conditioning. That makes quite a big difference.

The cooling/intercooling layout adopted for the TCR is totally different from the stock car or the TC.

It's the TC, not the TCR. Different car.

I actually posted the Honda press release for this earlier this morning, it's a few topics down.

I should’ve pay more attention to the lettering, I did see TCR at the glen while TCA class was running Si.

I think I read somewhere that it is the j’s hood.

I put in an inquiry with CSF about the radiator and they said they make it exclusively for HPD and they can't sell it to the public. So I have an inquiry in with HPD about the radiator and the grille. Hopefully they will respond with positive news. *fingers crossed*

Saw this car at laguna seca a couple of weeks back.

Didn't get a chance to talk to the Honda development team that was there as I was busy. I did snap some pictures though.








The car is basically a hollowed out CTR with some upgrades. You can probably build the same car for a lot less but you won't get the race support. In other words, not worth it to us average joes but maybe worth it for someone who is trying to break into racing.

It took weeks, but I got a reply from HPD and they said, "At this time, these parts are only available to customers who have purchased a Civic Type-R TC race car."
