You wanna toss that Injen intake for sure. I think I saw someone selling quite a few stock parts in the FK8 classifieds if you wanna go that route. Good luck! Looks like a fun project.

Oh really, are they that bad?

Thanks it's defiantly a fun project, I am enjoying it a lot so far.

I happen to have an extra rear diffuser if you need one.

Thanks I appreciate the offer, but my diffuser was untouched, I just need the rear bumper skin.

Took apart the center console to get at my air bag module. Should I upgrade my shifter since it's all apart?

If you have intentions of upgrading your shifter then now is the time in my opinion. The most labor intensive part is removing the center console and trim parts.
If you decide to upgrade, don't install the console until you have tweaked your shifter settings by driving the car. I'm running the Acuity shifter and am enjoying mine. It is a major improvement over the stock shifter.

Yes defiantly took some time to remove everything, but came out pretty easy. Oh ok good to know, I was actually leaning towards the hybrid-racing.

Did you bought it in New Richmond Quebec (I noticed the dealership tag in the first pic you attached) ?

This is where I picked up mine :)

I actually bought it here in NB. I do have a New Richmond Honda license plate frame so yes its likely from the same place as yours, very cool!

Agreed, heard they heat soak quite a bit.

Ah ok, I will replace it with something else later on. Not top priority at the moment.

Yeah, I agree with you and would wait until the car is up and running again to do anything. Just wanted to share some info because I saw a you-tuber who swapped to that intake and with the heat soak he actually lost power. He dyno'd it and the results didn't lie. I wish you the best of luck with your build and please keep us updated! I love seeing projects like this!

So I switched out the catch can for some swift springs instead. I should have my parts by next week!
