My dealer has an automatic car wash with brushes & I tell them not to wash my car.

I wash by hand in the driveway. I realize not everyone has that option or wants to do that.

I have used touchless car washes & they work pretty good, but always seem to leave a very thin film of dirt behind. I've read they use high powered detergents since they don't have brushes, and this may strip off wax. Therefore I stopped using them on my new cars.

Yeah, maybe it is different at different dealership, but here in Chicago, the two Honda dealerships I've went to, have automatic with scrubbers.

if you get a CTR, i get it. If it's anything but a CTR, I think people worry way too much about how a car should be washed.

I have an LX and I'm sure I like it just as much as a CTR owner likes their car.

Hand washing is maybe 20 minutes of my time and gets me off my fat ass.
you can't hand wash when it's 20 degrees outside
