Thanks for the report. Can you send it again with the calibration you use? (the calibration sent from the report was from an Accord).
Really? That's strange, I'll send it again!

Forgot to mention the only other modification I have is PRL HVI

Edit: sent!

@AdamD19DFK8, hey did you send a report too?

Wow, which vendor answers email on xmas day? Either your employee loves to work there or you're a slave driver (kidding)? Cheers for the holidays!

alejandroads123: I need the calibration ID or ECU part number. Send us feedback from the software and include your calibration.

PrisonerOfDoom: If you have a cat in the downpipe then use the high flow cat calibration. What happened with the 93 calibrations after tuning for the stock downpipe, high flow cat and catless is that we found that the high flow cat and stock downpipe were the same. If you compare some of the calibrations you'll see the main difference is that catless you have to lower the maximum air charge. The other tuning differences are not huge.
@Hondata if I have the PRL catted downpipe, front pipe, charge pipe and intercooler, should I be using the “93 octane PRL dp, ic” calibration ? Or is there something else I should be using ? Thanks

I see that there is a gap in the calibrations for 93 whereas the 91 has a high flow cat option.

I'm pretty sure that the DP calibration will work with the cat DP but need to check with our tuner that this is accurate. In the meantime use the plain 93 octane calibration (with or without improved throttle response).

I haven't datalogged a failure to start, would it actually record anything. since the car is off?

Busa, I don't have my HVI yet, I'm waiting on it to be delivered, along with my Titanium inlet. I doubt any parts would cause these issues especially with proper installation.

I set up my tune on my main desktop PC, then tried flashing it on with my lap top where it gave me an error, about timing out or access or something I don't remember. Then I just flashed it with just the actual flashpro unit and it worked, but the first time I tried to start the car it wouldn't start. This was right after updating to version 3.5.0 sometime last week.

Later today I'm going to go do some pulls/tuning to see if my timing is at the point where it being increased actually loses power, and seeing if stepping it down by .75 at the top end gives me a higher virtual dyno reading. First I have to make sure to warm the car up and drive around first since if you try to flash the car when it's bone cold it will corrupt and start running awfully lol. I'm going to try to flash it back to stock first, and then put my tune on to see if the car will start under the circumstances where it's not doing so correctly now, plus try to get it to actually start in +R mode again like it should be doing

So I flashed the car back to stock, then reflashed my tune. Go to start the car up... It doesn't start. Wait a little bit and it finally starts up... But in sport mode. Whattt....the...fuck? Reverting back to a previous version probably wouldn't help as it would just mess up the firmware even further

It is 'Stock Equivalent' or 'Return to Stock'?

How are you reflashing the vehicle? Using just the FlashPro or using a laptop?

If just the FlashPro are you switching off the ignition after it reflashes?

The other question is are you updating the calibration on the FlashPro before an upload? Some people let FlashProManager update the firmware but don't update the calibration.

Using return to stock with laptop

Flashing my tune with just the flashpro (earlier last week I tried using the laptop and it gave me some error)

Yes, always switch off ignition upon completion.

Yes, update calibration for the new firmware. In my case I just deleted the calibrations off my flashpro completely and then re-uploaded them to it.

I sent over feedback with my calibration attached 15-30 minutes ago. Not sure if datalogging the error would do anything since the car needs to be on for it to record

I also had an issue when I click online - return to stock so I can unlock the flash pro.

Once fnished flashing, hodata software prompted to turn off ignition but the car wouldnt let me turn off from accessory mode. It would beep when I tried to turn imthe car off lol. Had to wait about a minute.

that is weird. I was about to say make sure you use a laptop to ensure it's completely finished, as you might be trying to turn it off too soon, but from what you said above you had the laptop.
What I noticed is the hondata software says to turn off ignition but the car is still cycling through all the error codes. Car would beep and deny your push to start input to turn off the ignition but eventually will turn off. I think it's doing that as it's still cycling the error codes?

Edit...see Hondata's response below

I so far have had no issues flashing the car.

At the end of a normal reflash the main relay clicks, the low pressure fuel pump primes and the wastegate actuator does a little dance.

I would like to know if the switch off message comes up before this reset - normally the message is 5-10 seconds afterwards.

If you can't switch off the ignition normally at the end of a reflash don't even bother to try and start the vehicle. Upload to the FlashPro again and reflash again. Don't be paranoid that this happens to everyone as it is very rare.
