Can't wait to install it!

Question: does it come with all of the things I need for an optimum shifting experience? I bought a shift boot collar as well. But do I need any of the bushings or springs Acuity sells as well, or should I be ok? Or is there anything else I should consider purchasing? Thank you :)

It's going to include everything associated with the shifter end of things. You may want to consider the linkage bushings, but you've already taken a huge step with the shifter itself. Have fun!

I went ahead and ordered the bushings as well. My car is coming along nicely. :D thank you all!

Hope you like it. Just dont over torque anything. I work with heavy equipment and nixed my first attempt at the installation. That issue was quickly rectified after some awesome customer support. But do yourself a favor and dont over torque. Also I agree with some others that its worth leaving your center console apart for as long as you can manage until you get a good feeling for where you want to leave your settings. I went sad short and as tight as I could get it and have not looked back!

Also parked is not a great way to get a true feel for your settings, I plugged in the essentials and drove around multiple time to make sure I wanted to keep things how they were set. And have thoroughly enjoyed this shifter ever since. I'm running the 27won shift knob and at lowest setting feels comparable to stock height but with the added weight to help row through the gears!
I hope you install goes well and that you have a blast with the shifter.

So, this may be an issue for me. I have a torque wrench that simply wasn't clicking for me when I set and used it. I think it caused me to overtighten some of my stuff. That means I may have to redo the process, but I don't know why it wasn't clicking at the proper setting.

I think I'm way over-torqued, basically. Any chance I'm ruining anything by doing that? I'd like to get new fastener parts from Acuity if I messed something up, but I just hope not to strip a screw in the process.

Also, any reason why my [twenty dollar] torque wrench wouldn't click in these scenarios?

You need to have a proper calibrated torque wrench to ensure that the bolts are at the correct setting. My 1/4" wrench cost over £100.00 but is worth it to know that my vehicle is properly worked on.

Wera are an excellent quality German brand. I have many of their tools but they only specialise in drivers and wrenches.

I mean my torque wrench has worked for me in the past. I just don't know a reason why it wouldn't be clicking in these lower torque setting scenarios.

Check in the handbook of the wrench and see what the lowest setting it will go down to. Many of the cheaper torquwrenches do not go low enough and that is why I bought an expensive one (workshop tool for my business).

UPDATE: I have had the shifter on my car this entire time. During the majority of 2020, my car was in a garage (I no longer work my old job, I now work from home). This shifter has WAY less mileage on it than it should for being on the car for nearly 2 years, but it has broken in, and I absolutely love it. Shifting is smooth and easy, feels great. I don't have it on the shortest throw (it was too stiff and easy to make mistakes) but I do absolutely love it.
