i installed my Ktuner a few months ago, put the dual mode 19.5/21.5 tune on that Ktuner provides. I noticed while idling that the rpm would bounce up and down slightly, stopped at a light, etc., extremely annoying so I took off that map and installed the dual mode Factory normal/19.5 Ktuner tune, no more annoying idle bouncing up and down every second or so. Anyone experience this?

Never had that issue. Did you try reflashing the same tune and get the same results?

No I just installed the Factory Normal/19.5 tune couple days ago which got rid of that annoying idle bouncing up and down, I really don’t want it back so I’m leaving it as is for awhile. When I have time I’ll fiddle around with it some more, was just wondering if anyone else was getting the idle surging like me.

I haven’t had any issues with mine. I previously ran the 19.5/23 tune with no bouncing idle. I have gone to the TSP Stage 1 tune now with no issues.

I don't think that issue is specifically related to the ktuner, because my Si did it with the stock tune. It would bounce around 500ish rpm at idle and mine was intermittent it didn't do it all of the time.

Agreed it might not be Ktuner, I'm not sure if it's gas, temp, ktuner, etc. I know it went away after I flashed it back to base tune after a day or so, I think it took a few days because the ecu had to relearn? All I know is that it was extremely annoying bouncing up and down slightly when at a light, etc. and it's gone now. Weird

Also meant to add not sure if it might be related to removing the rev hang?

More features, more user friendly, their v.2 offers a screen. Facts are facts... And facts hurt feelings.

You need datalogging and someone who can best interpret it. Email Ktuner direct with logs. And see if they see a issue.

Thanks for the replies, I honestly am not a big tinkerer with the Ktuner, I bought it for like $375 and installed it, it runs nice but the idle bouncing up and down slightly at a light or a stop was making me a little crazy, so I reflashed it with stock regular tune and the 19.5 sport tune, and after a few days of driving the idle bouncing has gone away, and I’m happy. I also thought the original maps I had on the car 19.5/21.5 was making the boost come on too quick, using the turbo too much? I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing this slight idle bounce at a stop. I’ll fiddle with it again after the winter but it’s too dam cold out there now!

That's one of the great things about Ktuner. You can easily adjust it for how you like to drive.

Ya I’ve had that before. Gave it a small rev and it was gone. It’s not really anything. This is on my new motor also.
