Seriously, the styling is over the top. But it is a great driving car. And even though I’m not a long term Honda owner, I do think I get what Honda is trying to do with this car.

The longer I own it the more I love how it looks. At first I didn't like the back but I was like 'who cares I'm in the car'. Now I think regular civics look odd and unfinished when I see them.

If I strapped every last negative comment leaving individual in that thread into a type R and took them for a spin - every last one of them would instantly stfu Also it looks a TON better in person than in pictures imo. It has weight to it, fat presence, it doesn't look odd in real life imo.

Car is boss - looks boss - I park it with pride front and center.
