As promised, here's the comparison of the muffler delete and Track Edition, using the same phone at the same location. The full sound doesn't come through without headphones, so I'd recommend that. Also my phone's dual mics balance a bit more towards tinny/raspy noises, my ears don't hear as much rasp on either setup.

I LOVE MY AWE TOURING EXHAUST ❤ oh man, worth every dollar. And it was the first exhaust system I've ever installed by myself, with nobody helping. It's super easy to do if you take your time, and might I add, by the time I got to that lollipop it was the sweetest lollipop I've ever had haha.

I'd suggest doing the downpipe at the same time if you're doing both because that front pipe is a PITA, and that little bit of empty space helped a ton. But the rest was seriously easy. Took me about 4 hours to swap out the downpipe... Another 2 hours for the rest of the exhaust. And the sound is so good!
Nicely done! Glad we facilitated an easy first exhaust install for ya ;)

What DP are ya mated to, and when can we hear it? :)

I'm hooked up to a PRL Catted Downpipe. I threw a CEL today (65 miles in) on the way to work, so I've gotta mess with the O2 once I get home, check the code, to see if there's an issue there. Once I get everything good and done I'll make a video.

I'll just say: it sounds mean. I freaking love it!

A few sound clips and my review of the Touring Edition System (stock cat/DP). Now with it being fully broken in, I can definitely say this system is a perfect choice for street cars. Low aggressive notes, no drone when your cruising around on the highway or around the block, and an awesome WOT exhaust note that mimics the track edition! Have yet to put the car on a Dyno to get my own data tho, and hope to do so after winter. I also just got their trip tip conversion to try out the diamond black tips .

In this episode of the Flying Quarter Mile, we see if the Gen X Civic Si Sedan can make it down the straight faster than the Mk7 GLI. :hmm:

If I don't get one up soon remind me. I'm still troubleshooting my smoking issue, and working 12+ hour days every day. I will eventually, sorry :(

My Track edition is still very muted after 800 miles (turbo vs. NA) to what I am used to driving around with, that is not saying anything negative about it, so don't get me wrong. Has a nice note, but wouldn’t mind even more. Suppose a down pipe would fix that some.

First image is a J’s Racing titanium setup, have 2 of their muffler sections so hacked one off. This is on my essentially race prepped daily GE8 Fit RS back in Japan.

Second image is a Power House Amuse R1 non-resonated titanium setup that I had on my DC5R Integra. Hacked the muffler off that one as well. At 8800rpms it just made me laugh at the sheer obnoxiousness of it.

If you're expecting it to get louder, it won't. If there's anymore break in to be had, it will only get smoother. That is due to the special packing blend we use in our resonators -- it fluffs up vs breaking down like the common stuff. A downpipe would certainly up the volume levels in a good way.
