I've never traded in a car to Carvana or a dealer before - just curious what to expect if I trade in an Si with lowering springs, new wheels and after market exhaust. Are they going to reject it or reduce the value? Would I increase the value by returning everything to stock first?

When I traded in my hatch, I asked them about it. The response was not as much as you think. But you for sure will be penalized for no SI wheels.

They could market up for customers, but market down for seller. If your 100% sure everybody luvs your mods, hold firm.

I just put everything back to stock on my hatch and will prob swap my wheels over to the new car as well. Hopefully they give me a decent deal on trade in as I got in 1 wreck that was repaired.

Chances are youll get more money back selling the aftermarket parts instead of selling them installed on the car. They wont give you anymore for your mods and there is a chance they will ding you for them.

Best bet is to return to stock as much as you can and sell your parts off
