Ktuner functionalities release plans?

Hi,

Can you tell us your near term planned additional functionalities of Ktuner for US and EU Civic X platforms?

I use US and EU separate as some of the features for US Civics are not available on EU models.

Additional open maps?
MAP calibration system?
Ignition retard until / engine coolant temp
etc.

It's not possible to discuss development work in public.

While I agree with you that information on long term projects if released, may signal competition to react. Short term release information is viewed more in line with marketing.

To have some sort of roadmap where you indicate, when will features that have already been released on some Civics be also rolled out for the rest is more in line with costumer’s relations.
For example, US Civics have feature to adjust ignition timing when engine coolant temp is low for over a year. This is still missing on EU market!

Take this as a signal, that some costumers are beginning to be angry. As they did buy the product with a lot of advertised features.
Only to find that some are only available on specific subset of Civics!

We actually list tunes and quick adjustments as the features that are included for all CivicX. You'll find those on your version. We specifically mark the ECUs that do not have advanced features right on the application page.

On ECUs where we only have a few customers for the series it will unfortunately take longer to add any special features. That doesn't mean we've stopped developing.

I'm not asking for 'advance' features as multi map section options. Coincidently this is available also in my version.

I'm talking about core functions, like ignition timing retard vs engine temperature, etc...

Yup, those will be there shortly if they're not currently. We always circle back around after initial support! Thanks for your patience.

i think my main question is, will you offer a better stage 1 or dual 21psi tune for the cvt blokes like TSP does?
I understand if you can't comment due to competition.

Our basemaps are established as conservative and well tested, proven to be safe. if you'd like to take it further options like custom tuning or TSP exist for that.
